Estimates of accuracy of genomic predictions in the validation population. Accuracy based on the correlation between predictions and phenotypes adjusted for fixed effects, divided by the square root of heritability, for predictions obtained using reduced or full training populations (see Table 3). Predictions were based on the effect of SNP WUR10000125 (WUR) of Sus scrofa chromosome (SSC) 4 only, and based on the rest of the genome excluding the effect of the SSC4 region (Rest), for virus load (A, calculated as area under the curve of log-transformed viremia between 0 and 21 days post infection) and weight gain to 42 days post infection (B).
