Estimates of genetic parameters are provided for survival time in days for both W1 and WB lines. \(\sigma_{{A_{D} }}\), \(\sigma_{{A_{I} }}\), and \(\sigma_{{A_{DI} }}\) are the direct genetic standard deviation, indirect genetic standard deviation, and direct–indirect genetic covariance. \(\sigma_{TBV}\) is the total genetic standard deviation, \(\sigma_{P}\) is the phenotypic standard deviation, T 2 is the total heritable variance relative to the phenotypic variance, and \(r_{A}\) is the genetic correlation between direct and indirect genetic effects.
