Identification of BLG A and B protein isoform populations, in milk samples collected from 10,641 cows during mid lactation. By plotting the B vs. A protein isoform concentrations of BLG (determined by mass spectrometry) milks containing AA, BB and AB protein isoforms can be distinguished. Black data points highlight the milk samples containing both protein isoforms but with a markedly lower concentration of the BLG B isoform
